Install Administrative Template for Microsoft Edge

hort instruction about how to install the GPO Administrative Template for Microsoft Edge.

• On your Active Directory Domain Controller, go to: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/download
  • Select version, build and platform
  • Click on Get Policy Files (MicrosoftEdgePolicyTemplates.cab is downloaded)

• Double-click the MicrosoftEdgePolicyTemplates.cab file and extract the zipfile to any location
• Copy the extracted folders to %systemroot%\SYSVOL\Domain\Policies\PolicyDefinitions
  • The msedge.admx file is required
  • The language folder depends on the installed system language. Optionally one can copy all language folders.
• The policies are now available when editing a GPO:
